Specifying Colors in 4D Chart Commands

There are three ways to specify a color in 4D Chart:

  • RGB: Red, green, and blue values (3 longints).
  • Index: Colors 1 through 256 in the 4D palette, which are displayed in the Fill Color, Line Color, and Text Color submenus if your monitor is set for 256 colors (1 integer).
  • Color: An internal value used by 4D Chart (1 longint).

The utility commands discussed in this section convert color values between these three conventions. The CT Chart and CT Objects theme commands in expect the Color longint as a parameter.
